Township of Union Public Schools

Located in the heart of northern-central Union County, the Township of Union is home to a vibrant and diverse community of approximately 56,000 residents. Bordered by the Union County municipalities of Elizabeth, Hillside, Kenilworth, Roselle Park, and Springfield, as well as the Essex County communities of Irvington, Maplewood, and Millburn, Union offers a unique blend of suburban charm and urban accessibility. The Township of Union Public School District proudly serves around 7,200 students across 10 schools. This includes six elementary schools for kindergarten through Grade 4, one dedicated Grade 5 school, two middle schools serving Grades 6–8, and one comprehensive high school. Our dedicated team of approximately 1,200 employees works collaboratively to provide a high-quality education, foster student growth, and prepare learners for success in a dynamic and ever-changing world.
